As professional drivers in a the real world, and not fmcsr dreamland. Which only makes regulations to harass and steal money from drivers for stupid things.
we should be allowed to set our own schedule and drive 12 hours per 24 hour day. That way if were detained at a shipper or receiver for 10 hours. while most likely we are sleeping. That we shouldn't be penalized for their slowness.
It's absurd to tell a grown woman/man what hours they can work. it isn't safer to make us drive 11 hrs in 14. if we were sick or wanted to take a nap or wanted to wait for traffic congestion to pass. we can't because our hour glass will run out.
Please switch the 11/14 rule to 12 per 24 to be used by our discretion. thank you
