Let the entire United States vote on whether same sex marriage should be allowed or not, in the November 2012 elections.

Created by T.W. on February 07, 2012

The voters in the state of California decided not to allow same sex marriage. A federal panel of three judges said it was unconstitutional for the state to ban same sex marriage, even if the majority of the state said not to allow it, by vote. If judges can now overturn the will of the majority on this issue, they can do it with other important issues. We are a democracy and what the majority think should be the law. I think that once and for all the country should be allowed to vote yes or no, for or against, same sex marriage. Those who created the constitution, never even considered that people of the same sex would attempt to be legally married. The voters, through the democratic process should have the say, not a few judges.
