Please let the so-called "Fiscal Cliff" happen at the end of 2012.
The "Fiscal Cliff" legislation was the best compromise that could be reached by two uncompromising sides that We the People elected by Congress. And it does accomplish two important objectives: Raising government revenues and slashing government spending. It also finally reverses the unjustifiable and immoral Bush Tax Cuts and returns us to the pre-Bush tax levels of the Clinton administration that allowed the US to live within a balanced budget.
It is impossible to imagine any replacement legislation in the current Congress being as effective in accomplishing these two goals. We urge the President and Congress to go ahead and let the Fiscal Cliff legislation passed by Congress to go ahead and play itself out.
