I believe that former felons who have otherwise turned their lives around and live productive lives, have had their civil rights restored and are proven to be upstanding citizens should if they so choose, have the right to carry a firearm for protection of their homes and families. I understand not letting rapists and murderers have firearms, but people who have onlly ever had 1 felony charge should not hamper them for the rest of their lives. Something needs to be done about this.
