House Bill 5293 keeps our military bands form doing their duties that have been done since 1798. It cuts the military band budget significantly. Currently the band spends seven cents for every $100 of our military budget! Our military Band's do much more than entertain and motivate our troops. They are one of the few activities that can bring humanity together. Cutting our military bands makes us more like those who we protect ourselves from.
