Kings County Rugby, Kings County, California had a 14 year old girl that wanted play rugby this year. USA Rugby and NORCAL Rugby stated that girls must play on all girls squads due to "safety" not based on ability. In According to Title IX if there is no girls/women's team the girl must be allowed to participate on the boys squad. USA Rugby is in violation of Title IX, Education Amendments of 1972. This petition is to stop the discrimination involved with USA Rugby against girls in rural areas where there is no girls/women's teams.
