Even though this is a Lame Duck session of Congress, they are all still paid to by we the people to do a job. Right now their only focus should be on resolving the fiscal cliff challenge.
Thus, President Obama, should let them all know now that the House and the Senate will not be allowed to leave Washington, DC until a resolution has been reached. This is within his Presidential authority.
This would spur action on both sides of the aisle and get them out of pointing fingers at each other.
Americans are tired of some of the members of Congress acting like they don't know what compromise means.
Since this is the only thing being focused on, if they can't get it resolved by the time their session is supposed to be complete, then they should have to stay "overtime" to get it done.
