Internet service providers have halted on providing the American people with fast access to the world wide web. The existing companies advertise as having "lightning fast high speed internet", which is a complete and blatant lie. Most people don't recognize this as being false. A 50Mbps internet connection is NOT high speed access. A majority of Americans can't even get a 50Mbps connection anyways. Without offering faster access, or expressing a desire to offer it in the future, America will lag behind the rest of the world relating to internet technologies. We rank 35th out 150 when it comes to speed and price. We petition the government to let these companies know that we want innovation, faster speeds, and wide spread access to the web and to stop lying about their sluggish speeds.
