Let law abiding citizens be able to carry a firearm without a C.H.L in order to protect there family better at any time

I feel with the way the economy is now days there is more and more crime happening across the U.S I feel if law abiding citizens were able to carry firearms without a C.H.L they would have a better chance to protect there family in case something was to happen say on a family vacation or even a trip to the store like it does everyday
