For years the League of Women Voters ran presidential debates, until it was taken from them by the two major parties, the Republicans and the Democrats. When the League ran the debates, they were open to more than two parties, and provided far more open questions and debate, rather than the strict script they use now. By giving the debates back to the League to run, it would create a far more democratic presidential race.
