Let Long Island became its own state. Long Island will be the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, and all of the NYC boroughs.

If Long Island was a state then the tax money will instead not be spread across the entire state of New York, but will stay on Long Island. Long Island state will consist of the current New York counties; Nassau, Suffolk, Kings, Queens, Bronx, Richmond, New York, and the proposed Peconic county. This will create government jobs on the island and many other jobs as well. The island is taxed enough already and if the island became a state, taxes would be lowered. The lower taxes will help small businesses on Long Island become bigger businesses. LET LONG ISLAND BECOME A STATE! #longislandforstatehood
