Let members of this website write comments and reviews for open petitions.

I have only been a member of this site for a few months now, but I have already begun to notice a lack of knowledge about how our government works. Some petitions seek to change laws in other countries, where the United States has no jurisdiction or control. Others call for the funding of extremely expensive programs that we can not possibly pay for right now. Being able to comment on petitions could prove very helpful. It could eliminate poorly thought out petitions, narrow down broad ideas, and even help to strengthen important points. Maybe we can even make a short quiz as part of registration for this site. In order to become a member, you must get at least 5/10 questions correct. All questions would deal with a general knowledge of our government.
