Please, allow Philippine people to visit the U.S. with a Passport and plane ticket, as they allow us to do. The current Visa process that Filipinos are forced to go through just to visit the U.S. for 14 days is destroying relationships, forcing families to remain separate for years, forcing Americans to choose between their jobs or loved ones, travel and spend $ overseas instead of building families here. Americans, especially Veterans, like myself, are denied the possibility of a normal relationship with our loved ones, constantly risking our jobs here to visit there.
Filipinos are the 2nd largest group of Asian Americans and have been close friends of ours for decades. Please, bring our people together.
