A lot of veterans are not notified when fireworks are set off in their area on days other then the holidays. (New Years and 4th of July.) This petition is to help make a law to where the person that issues the permit (Fire Safety Board) is required to notify the local Veterans Administration before issuing the permit. And the VA is required to send out a Text,Email and/or Mail to the Veterans Registered with the VA to notify them of the fireworks with a date and time so veterans can prepare for the fireworks. Please sign this petition and lets make a change so our veterans do not have to suffer anymore from surprise fireworks!
