Let the people decide how they want to the Internet to be credible instead of letting the government decide.

The government has already made efforts to regulate and secure the Internet by legislation. These pieces of legislation have been protested through petitions on this website and have reached enough signs to be seen by the President himself. Why can't we convey to the President, just like we have done before, to let the people decide on a committee that decides on a strategy to understand the Internet? If we still have faith in the judgment of our society, then why can’t society decide for itself how it wants to make the Internet credible and reliable?
