Most Senate Republicans are refusing to consider President Obama's nomination of Judge Merrick Garland to serve as a Justice on the Supreme Court, saying that they are doing so in order to wait for the People to speak on this via the outcome of the upcoming Presidential election. If the Senators are still refusing to do their duty when it's time to print the ballots for the general election, I propose we do exactly as the Senators suggest, and place Judge Garland's name on the ballot, and let the People decide. This would solve the problem of the vacancy on the Supreme Court, as well as satisfy the Senate majority's desire for the People's voice to be heard, and the small modification to the ballots would certainly not cause an excessive financial burden on the taxpayers, if any at all.
