This week, some Navy dude freaked out in a New York Times article about what Russia was doing with the underseas internet cables. (He forgot that the US has close to ~1000 military bases internationally. Whatevs).
But let's be honest --the internet sucks. Could you imagine a day when no one had the internet? Heaven.
The internet has become this terrible cesspool of what was once called social media but what is now this dopamine addiction where you have to constantly refresh every Facebook, Gmail, Tumblr, Twitter page and honestly Putin can save us from all of us if he takes out the Pacific Ocean submarine Internet cables. Also, tangentially, the internet is run by a bunch of emotionally crippled babies. They need to get irl.
