"One nation, under God." We live in a country that is free, strong, built on faith and values. I believe that God, religion in general, should be allowed back into public schools. Students and staff should be able to have things such as prayer cards on their binders, a shirt with Jesus Christ on it, etc.. I have seen clothing at schools with Buddha on it completely over looked, but a shirt with praying hands caused a student to be taken to the office and be given a different shirt to wear. Religion is not harmful to others, it is comforting to the faithful, it is protection. It is needed now more than ever. I am not suggesting prayer be forced in school, just that it be allowed if an individual chooses. People of all ages, should be welcome to openly be proud of their faith.
