Obama Directs Administration to Accept 10,000 Syrian Refugees?

1. There are 11.3 million unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. as of 2014 and currently makes up 3.5% of the nation’s population.

2. More than 3.5 million people experience homelessness each year. 35% of the homeless population are families with children, which is the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. 23% are U.S. military veterans.

3. in 2013, there were 109,631,000 Americans on welfare, outnumbering the 105,862,000 full-time year-round workers in the United States.

4. More than 45 million people, or 14.5 percent of all Americans, lived below the poverty line last year.

I think we have enough problems of our own other than trying to make a PC statement to the world.
