LET THE SOUTH GO! We'd Be Better Off As A Nation!

Recently, a number of Southern States have petitioned the Obama Administration for withdrawal from the Union. We say, LET THEM GO. The South is nothing but a drag to the rest of the Nation. They have been holding us back ever since 1861. Their outright refusal to uphold the civil rights of racial, religious and orientation minorities even to this day is a disgrace to our Nation. The South is the enemy of the equality and freedom our Constitution advocates. The South remains the poorest section of the country because of their refusal to progress with the rest of us, and that hurts our National economy. On a side note, elections would go a lot faster without Florida. We need the South as much as we need a broken leg. If they secede, we say we'd be better off as a country.
