Let states check IDs of people who vote we use IDs and drivers licenses for everything

When people go to receive anything whether it is drivers license or welfare or turning on a utility we have to show and ID. Some states are giving away free IDs to those who cannot afford one and would like to vote... So if in everyday life we have to show ID for everything why not voting to prevent voter fraud
