Let States decide their own gun laws. No amount of "gun control" will stop an evil person from commiting violent crimes

I'm a soldier stationed at FT Hood Texas. I was enroute to the screening facility the day Major Hassan opened fire. What I'm getting at is.. FT Hood is like a state. It's population is made up of mostly combat experienced soldiers. It's fenced in with armed security. The gun laws are very strict. You can be told you can't have guns "at all" or they have to be locked away in an arms room. It's the perfect example of what a "GUN CONTROL" state would be like on a smaller scale. i guess one would think we were safer then most americans. But the violence people are so affraid of found us. Despite all our protection we were hit. Which proves my point, gun control will never stop the individual who is bent on doing harm. The answer to a bad man with a gun is a good man with a gun period
