let the States dictate wage and benefits for our Elected Officials

Created by T.B. on December 30, 2012

Less work for Congress, the States decide the pay and benefits for their elected Officials . That way they can't vote on or give themself a pay raise or better benefits. and what ever they pass applies to them no exemption. They will no longer rec pay for life unless they retire for congress and then they rec SS at the rate they paid into it. They become FERS employee and all benefits of FERS applies to them. if they don't retire they get no retirement. You serve until you are voted out and then if you are under the age of retirement then you get nothing but if you are retirement age you get the same as a person who worked for the government. now the President would rec protection for life and 25% of what he made. Plus he keeps any money he makes after office minus taxes and SS.
