11 states did not ask for permission, they did what they thought was right for their state and it's people. The fact that we feel we have to ask for permission is saddening but what is even more saddening is representatives not standing with their constituents.
There are 306million people struggling to survive in this economy that shouldn't have to wait for a 'yay' or 'nay' from our elected Caesers when the real power is with the people, nor should we have to wait for canned history lessons or laws copied from Wikipedia for why our petitions have failed.
I ask that secession be allowed by a majority vote, I also ask that those within non-seceding states be allowed to pass laws by majority vote without the White House or its agencies stepping in when it does not effect DC.
