Let all of the states secede - the people who initiated those petitions have no clue as to what the federal government provides for them. They believe Medicare isn't a gov't program. The don't think about the benefits of the VA (although the need to improve quality of care), FDA, USDA (both of which need more inspectors as does CMS). law enforcement/homeland security (but seriously drones for US law enforcement and the patriot act need to be rethought)
