Let taxpayers choose were a portion of our taxes are to be spent within our government

As a taxpaying citizen of this country, I would like to be able to choose were a certain percentage of my taxes are spent each year by way of a form attached to my yearly taxes. If everyone was given a choice on how 10% of our taxes were spent by the government it would give a lot of power to the people and lawmakers to know how the country feels and what we care about. I believe that educating the people on how taxes are spent and for what reasons would redefine our system, This year if i had 10% I would want 3% to defense, 3.5% to education, 2.5% to infrastructure, 1% to research and development
