Let Texas leave. But loss of statehood means loss of rights and privileges including military support and is binding.

Created by K.F. on November 14, 2012

Texas wants to leave? Texas ranks last in high school diplomas and first in executions. Their system of justice is in shambles. Their values are skewed from the rest of America, so much so they want to leave because 'we' disappoint 'them'. Fine. But let's be clear now: loss of statehood means more than JUST loss of Federal funds, FEMA support, mutual aid, etc. It's also loss of military support. Should drug cartels see Texas as an opportunity to expand outside of US or Mexican law, it will NOT be the US military's fight. Texas, as a recently seceded state, would NOT be considered an ally and are on their own. Citizens should consider this before they apply for secession. Immigration law would apply to them after it's official and passports needed for entry to visit the US.
