Around 15,500 transgender men and women are hiding undercover in the US Military today. They hide their true selves and deal with being in the wrong body on a day to day basis, just so they can be allowed fight for our freedom and put thier lives on the line. They could have transitioned and stayed a civilian. But they put service before self, if that isnt the definition of a true soldier, then i dont know what is. Please let transgenders/sexuals live and serve openly in our United States Military. Lift the ban and make it so they may enlist, become an officer, or come out of the closet without negative consequences and gain the help they need if they are already active or in the reserves.
