Let U.S. Citizens Vote to Impose Congressional Term Limits and Salary Changes.

This petition will allow U.S. Citizens to vote on terms limits and salaries for Congress on the spring 2014 ballot. This will end D.C. gridlock by electing new officials when terms limits are up. If passed, Congress will have 3-2yr term limits (6yrs total), $75,000 salary and can’t self-vote raises. Congressmen will not be able to return to Congress when term is up. Current Congressmen in office reaching 3-2yr terms can be reelected in 2014 but must leave office at end of term. New term limits and salaries will begin 01/2015 for ALL Congressmen. If passed by voters, this can’t be overturned by the White House/any member of Congress as this is the will of the people.
