Let us keep our snakes and exotic animals. Stop the Lacey Act.

Created by W.W. on February 20, 2012

The Lacey Act recently banned 2 species of African Rock Python, The Burmese Python, and the Yellow Anaconda. This law makes it so these species can not be sold or transported across state lines. So that means companies that make reptiles enclosures, reptile breeders, and the people that work for them are gonna lose money and people will lose their jobs because the companies are not making money. This needs to stop. First it was these snakes. Then its gonna go to Boa Constrictors, Reticulated Pythons, all the way down to Ball Pythons, and Cornsnakes. And alot of other reptiles. What are breeders suppose to do with the babies they already produced? Euthanize them? thats gonna be hundreds of thousands of snakes. Just put microchips in the snakes. And make it so people have to register them.
