Let us make it the standard that all American flags, sold in the United States, are to be made in the United States.

Many patriots have shown anger over the desecration of the United States Ensign, but are not seeing the main issue with it; a very large majority of American flags are not made in America. Many Americans, even politicians, will show an exhibition of their pride by wearing, or displaying a U.S. flag, but over 90% of American flags are made and imported from a foreign country. How patriotic is that? I ask of you, my fellow Americans and patriots, that we enact a law making our sign of pride, patriotism, and nationalism only to be produced by the hands of a United States citizen’s, and not of those of a foreign nation. America is a land of hard work and dedication, our nation should not be defined by a cheap, foreign import.
