There are many of us who are pacifists in this nation. Many prophets were people of peace. Now we are tired of being made hypocrites to our faith by the government of this nation. Though the armed forces may give us recognition as conscientious objectors due to our beliefs, the IRS does not. So although we are not forced to carry a gun we are forced to pay for them.
We will pay, and gladly, to support the truly peaceful endeavors of our nation, but we will not be made hypocrites by it in the name of violence.
Give us an option to opt-out of paying for all military expenditures that would otherwise be paid for with our federal taxes.
