Let us serve!!! I had weight loss surgery and now i Have lost 120 pounds. I want to be the best American I can be

All I want to do is serve, but I can't. I had Gastric by pass and lost 120 pounds. I am in the best shape of my life and just want to serve my Country. I know it would be a pay cut for me...But I really don't care. Before my surgery I had all sorts of medical reasons why I could not enlist. (High blood pressure, sleep apnea and type 2 diabete0). That is all gone now and has been for 2 years.Under the current U.S military guild lines Weight Loss surgery is a permanent DQ/ And I wonder why?? So do a lot of people that I have run into that have had WLS
