Times have changed... we need to get back on the moon.
I have to admit levels of enthusiasm in the 1960's was low with hardly any support for the Apollo program, fluctuating between 35 - 45 % believed that the moon excursion was worth the expense after 9 years of the program. This though was an old generation.
A 24-year-old woman in the study said, “Our world will change in the next 50 years because of what’s going on the space industry. We may make moves to live elsewhere.” That woman was 8 when humans first set foot on the moon and, if she’s still alive, is now about 51. You almost have to feel bad for the baby boomers for not getting the future they were promised.
The thing is, we need to push forward as a species, as humans, as explorers... times have changed Obama.
