Why do we need to stop, when it's obvious that the road is clear?
We have STOP signs almost on every conner.
It has more harm then benefits.
1. It's annoying to stop when it's obvious that the road is clear. It causes health issues and stress.
2. It wears out your car - breaks, engine, transmission. For nothing, when it's obvious that the road is clear.
3. We use more gas. Taking of from complete stop has a highest gas rate consumption.
4. It slows down the traffic and causes the traffic.
5. It gives reason for police to pull you over and write you a fine, also causing stress, emptying our pockets just because you didn't stop, I mean the cases when there is nothing around.
6. Police it not kept busy fighting a real crime.
Europe doesn't have this, Australia, Russia. There are "yields".
