Every day, animals suffer in silence, waiting to be abused and killed in slaughterhouses, on fur farms, and in laboratories. It's up to us to take a stand and use our voices to help them. It's a big responsibility, but there are many small ways that you can speak up for animals. Animal rights means that animals deserve consideration of what is in their best interests, whether or not they are "cute," useful to humans, or an endangered species—and regardless of whether any human cares about them at all. It means recognizing that animals are not ours to use—for food, clothing, experimentation, or entertainment.
