License and regulate Internet poker in the U.S. for the freedom of choice to play this great American pastime.

Created by M.S. on September 27, 2011

Millions of Americans enjoy playing online poker in the privacy of their own homes. It is a game of skill and competition between players from diverse locales.Yet our government has chosen to censure this game and create a marketplace environment where only offshore sites, many of them lacking proper safeguards and consumer protections, are available to U.S. players

The technologies exist to properly regulate this industry for the protection of the underage and the problem gambler, and to provide the needed consumer protections against cheating, fraud and other criminal activities. By federal licensing and regulation of US-based sites, these protections can easily be enforced while creating 1000's of new jobs and bringing in new revenues for government without raising income taxes.
