Lift 2016 overtime caps on Secret Service personnel

Created by E.M. on October 26, 2016

According to a report from Buzzfeed News, "a cap on federal income has prevented United States Secret Service agents from being paid for hundreds of hours of work on the presidential campaign trail."

These agents are facing a year tougher than ever before, and handling it like pros. The least our federal government could do is make sure they are getting paid for their work by exempting Secret Service personnel from Federal overtime limits during this election year.

An effort to raise the cap through congressional action has stalled, it is time for the federal government to look at this issue.
