Lift Ban Preventing Gay/Bi Men from Donating Blood

Created by A.M. on June 13, 2016

In America, gay, bisexual, or pansexual men are not allowed to donate blood... unless they have abstained from having sexual encounters with another man in the past twelve months, according to FDA rules. Laws are in place to prevent those with STDs from donating, so the diseases in the blood are not the issue. The ban preventing healthy gay or bisexual men from donating is the problem.
