Lift the commercial, economic, and financial embargo against the nation of Cuba.

Created by W.M. on June 08, 2012

Imposed in 1960 by the Kennedy administration, the United States embargo against Cuba is the longest-standing trade embargo in the world. However, with the end of the Cold War and the relaxation of tensions between the two nations, the embargo is no longer either sensible or necessary. In fact, it prevents the bulk of the Cuban population from accessing various consumer goods, effectively punishing them for the policies of a government in which they had little to no voice. Sign this petition, and help the people of Cuba access the global markets which they have thus far been unfairly denied.
