We petition to the Obama Administration to lift the economic sanctions placed on the Russian Federation and their industry. The sanctions were placed for the Russian Federation's involvement in the Ukraine crisis.
We propose that these be removed for the following reasons:
1. This constitutes an act of aggression on the Russian Federation on behalf of the United States, for no legitimate reason.
2. This damages relations with the Russian Federation and it is in our best interest to have friendly relations with Russia.
3. The problems occurring in Ukraine are beyond the jurisdiction of the United States, meaning that it cannot intervene.
In support of health relations with the Russian Federation and peace in Eastern Europe, we support instituting a non-interference policy in Ukraine.
