Lift the import ban on Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs made by Ferro. Bring joy to millions.

Created by J.I. on November 18, 2015

Kinder Surprise eggs are sold all over the world, but are illegal in the United States even though they meet all safety requirements of the European Union. These are tasty chocolate eggs that contain a toy in the middle. The rationale for the ban is that a child could potentially choke on the chocolate encased toy and that some toys are self assembled with small parts not intended for kids younger than age three. The eggs are labeled in multiple languages as not safe for kids under age three. There is no reason to continue this ban when toys are enclosed in other food products in the United States like breakfast cereal and Cracker Jack. Lift the ban and bring joy to millions of US Citizens who have enjoyed Kinder Eggs in other countries.
