Many regions in Syria are living under military siege. However, the children of Madaya near Damascus are suffering a serious humanitarian condition living under siege for more than a year. The international community has forgotten about the ongoing siege after a single televised aid convoy entered the town several months ago. However, malnutrition Is still rampant.
Children of Madaya has recently become a target for snipers deployed on the periphery of the area. The case of the girl Ghina Qwaider which was hit ten days ago was a unfortunate great example. We ask for:
1. The immediate transfer of injured/sick children and all urgent cases to receive appropriate treatment.
2. Pressure all parties to honor the agred upon truce.
3. Lift the siege on the trapped innocent civilians.
