Lift the Trade and Travel Embargoes Established Against Cuba

The time has come to end the harmful embargoes with the Cuban government, which for decades has caused an estimated trillion dollars in economic damage to the Cuban nation and suppressed the Cuban population in poverty. Furthermore, the embargoes have not served any meaningful purpose in protecting the national interests of the United States, and for the 21st year in a row, the United Nations has condemned the embargoes as unfair, unjust and unnecessary.
