lift the travel ban and normalize diplomatic relationships with Cuba.

Created by C.K. on September 24, 2011

Cuba has been a popular vacation destination for Europeans for decades. It is also on America's doorstep, and yet, we are unable to travel there. Additionally, the United Nations has been requesting for years that we end our embargo of Cuba. Whereas, it is not in our nation's interests to completely end the embargo, there is absolutely no reason we cannot meet the UN in the middle and allow our citizens to travel there. We also need to seriously think about having diplomatic relations with Cuba. We have a relationship with Iraq, Pakistan, even most of the Middle East. Most or all of these countries have some sort of relationship with a terrorist organization. And yet we have a minimal diplomatic relationship with a country separated from us by a few miles of water. This must change
