,in light of repeated mass shootings, and successful use of armored vehicles, return armored vehicles to law enforcement

Created by D.W. on December 02, 2015

A request to rescind a portion of Executive Order 13688 and return armored vehicles to municipalities and counties, from which they have been ordered removed. Armored vehicles have been used to great effect in San Bernadino and Colorado Springs to protect citizens and officers. It is seemingly unjust to deny communities in rural or depressed economic areas a piece of protective equipment no longer used by the military. American taxpayers paid for the equipment, let taxpayers continue to receive the benefit of the investment. If local communities don't want the armored vehicle available let their political bodies make the decision.
