"Light The White House Up Blue" for Autism Awareness in April to support the 2 million+ people affected in US by Autism.

Created by T.V. on November 12, 2012

The diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is growing at an exponential rate. 1 in 88 children are diagnosed with Autism and 1 in 54 of those are boys. More children are affected by Autism each year than those with AIDS, cancer and diabetes combined. It is the fastest growing severe developmental disorder in the United States and yet there is still no answer to what causes ASD's and there is no cure.

Every April, Autism Speaks promotes their "Light it up Blue" campaign to raise awareness and funds for research for Autism. It would mean a great deal to the families and the more than 2 million people in the United States that are affected by Autism. It's time that the government step-up and be a bigger player and supporter in Autism research funding and programs.
