American law enforcement is important to keeping all Americans safe from crime. By lighting the White House in Blue the President and his administration will show that they support the law enforcement in the United States. There is a history of lighting the white house in different colors for different reasons. This year alone the White House was light in different colors for the death of prince and to celebrate same sex marriage. If these are good reasons why shouldn't the white house be light in blue to honor the sacrifices of the law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
