September is national Hunger Action Month and orange is the color if hunger. Food Banks across the US engage their communities to take action by asking them to participate, donate, and advocate. They "turn orange" in solidarity and to raise awareness about the struggles of children and families that face hunger right here at home.
We unite communities against hunger, but can we unite a nation? Our request is that the White House lights up in orange to lead the way to a country's understanding that food is the first step in making us a healthier, smarter, stronger, and safer nation. Please LIGHT to UNITE this September!
