The Administration has shown a willingness to use colored lighting on the executive mansion on occasions it deems historic. Surely there is nothing more historic than the birth of our great republic with the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776. Therefore, we petition President Obama to show that appreciation on America's 239th birthday by lighting the White House Red, White, and Blue.
